Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

  3. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly pour in chicken broth while stirring.
  5. Add shredded chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and heat through.
  7. Serve hot.
