- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
