- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with 1 tbsp water and stir into the slow cooker. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice or vegetables.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts for more flavor.
- For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
