Ingredients

- 3 lbs pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 orange, juiced
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place pork shoulder, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Add orange juice, lime juice, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Shred the pork and serve in tortillas with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For crispier carnitas, broil shredded pork for 5 minutes.
- Corn tortillas work best for authentic tacos.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
